Bob is a
litigation attorney who concentrates primarily in the areas of personal injury,
civil litigation, criminal defense (including felonies), insurance defense,
arbitration, appellate practice, mediation and contract law. Bob was born and
raised in Stillwater, MN, and graduated with distinction from the University of
New Mexico. He also attended William Mitchell College of Law and graduated in
1979.
After graduating from law school, Bob was employed by a major law firm in St.
Paul and prepared and handled all facets of civil litigation before joining the
firm in 1982. Bob is a member of the Lincoln-Lyon County Bar Association, the
9th District Bar Association, and is a former president of the Lincoln-Lyon
County Bar Association. He has also edited a Minnesota CLE publication entitled
"Worker’s Compensation Index." Bob served on the Court Rules Committee of the
Minnesota State Bar Association, has been the president of the Marshall Area
Chamber of Commerce, and President of the Southwest Athletic Association.
Additionally, Bob has been President of the Pride in the Tiger Foundation and
has been on the Minnesota Continuing Legal Education Board of the Minnesota
State Bar Association.
Bob has been practicing law in Minnesota since 1979 and was admitted to Federal
District Court in Minnesota in 1980. Bob is married and has two college age
sons. He is an avid bicyclist, swimmer and enjoys baking rustic breads.
